About our Fitness & Wellness Coordinator
Brooke Yanik is a 2010 graduate of Ashland High School. Nine years ago, she began teaching various fitness classes while working at the Veterans Hospital in Huntington, WV. She became a stay-at-home mom after the birth of her first child. Brooke continued teaching classes and, in August 2021, embraced the role of Fitness and Wellness Supervisor.
Passionate about fostering transformation in the community, youth, and health, Brooke has expanded her impact by engaging with the special needs community, organizing community feeding initiatives, and spearheading health and wellness events and programs at the Ashland Area YMCA. Committed to service, she actively contributes to her church and finds her greatest fulfillment in her role as a wife to Jonathan Yanik and a mother to three children Joleigh, Jagger, and Ozzy.

We Have a Wide Range of Fitness Programs!
Martial Arts
We have a number of different martial arts programs available. You will start out in our Lil Dragons program, and then as you learn, you will move up and have the chance to earn your white, yellow, and finally Black belt.

We have a state of the art fitness center for strength training and injury rehabilitation. We have an enclosed walking track and full adult Gym area. We have racquetball courts and indoor cycling classes.
